YouTube TV got Dark Mode support for Android app. Go to Google Play Store and download the latest version of the app to enable the dark mode on Android smartphones. However, YouTube TV for iOS has not got this feature.
YouTube TV for Android gets dark mode support.
Last year, Google launched dark mode on its mobile app with Android 10 launch. YouTube TV on the web-supported the feature from long back. Now, almost after one and half a year, the dark mode feature is out on the Android app.
As per the reports, Google has rolled out the dark mode feature to the YouTube TV for Android app. Only for Android app, the dark mode feature is out, for iOS the feature is not yet out.
The new feature on Android phones depends on the phone’s default settings. The users’ needs to enable the dark mode on the device to use the feature in the YouTube TV for Android app. Apart from these settings, there is no other way to use this feature to on or off.
YouTube TV Android has a dark grey background which is similar to the dark mode, which is available in the main app.
As mentioned, Google has rolled out this new feature to the Android app only. To get the dark mode, the user first needs to visit the Play store and download the latest version 4.14.3 on the smartphones.
