It has been officially confirmed by Xiaomi that they are releasing a new RedmiBook which is powered by AMD processor on October 21. The details have been confirmed by a poster that features the new RedmiBook series powered by AMD R5 3500U processor.
Xiaomi RedmiBook Is Coming With An AMD Processor
Xiaomi will be launching a RedmiBook with an AMD processor for the first time as previous RedmiBook 14 has an Intel processor on-board. One of the main reasons why Redmi has chosen AMD processors could be the multi-threaded performance.
The new RedmiBook will not limit the performance of the R5 3500U processor by under clocking it. Therefore, a lot of heat would be generated during multitasking and other heavy tasks which gives us a hint that there will be better thermals that will get rid of the access heat.
The price of the new RedmiBook might be close to its previous version, RedmiBook 14 which was launched last year. The RedmiBook line-up will be launched on 21st October, stay tuned for the future updates of the upcoming details.
