Whatsapp To Bring New Feature To Compete Google Duo And Zoom!

Whatsapp is working on a new feature which will increase the limit of a participant in a group video or audio calls. As of now, the messaging app has a limited number of 4 four participants in a group call at once. However, soon the Whatsapp is going to increase the limit of the participants.

As we all are in social distancing, all of us are meeting through video calls. So, Whatsapp is working on a new feature which will allow more participants at once to join the group audio or video calls.

According to the reports on WABetainfo, a website which tracks Whatsapp updates revealed that the company is planning to increase the limit of the participant from four to join the voice or video group call.

The reports, says that,

“WhatsApp, probably due to the concerns for the COVID-19 and the fact that more users are using group calls, has decided to extend that limit to allow calls with more participants.”

However, the company has not revealed how many users can finally join the group call in the new feature. The changes were spotted in Whatsapp Messenger beta for iOS 2.20.50.23. When you are on a call, Whatsapp will show a new header saying that the call is end-to-end encrypted.
