One of the most popular social media messenger which is now acquired by Facebook, WhatsApp, has suddenly disappeared from the Google Play store. Although, Whatsapp for business is still available on the play store.
WhatsApp has been Removed From The PlayStore
As per the information from WABetaInfo’s twitter handle, WhatsApp app is not appearing in the search results of google play store. However, the app is still available through “My app & games“, but while searching for Whatsapp on google play store, it doesn’t show the app in the search results.

A few days back, Instagram was also removed from the search results of google play store, but the issue was resolved later.
TheNextWeb has confirmed the issue, and the app is not available on UK and Netherlands Play store. However, Whatsapp is still available on third-party app stores like Samsung’s app store, and Huawei’s AppGallery.
