The new change in Whatsapp has come for all Indians as the videos are slowing the internet. Whatsapp has reduced the status limit to 15 seconds from 30 seconds in India. Apart from Whatsapp, the other online streaming apps like Netflix, Amazon Video, YouTube and Facebook have reduced the video quality to save the internet. As millions of people are sitting home and working due to Coronavirus lockdown.
This new update comes from WABetaInfo, one of the people shared this news on Twitter and said,
“You can no longer send videos to WhatsApp Status if they are longer than 16 seconds: only videos having a duration of 15 seconds will be allowed. This is happening in India and it’s probably an initiative to reduce the traffic on the server infrastructures.”
