One of the most anticipated features of Whatsapp, yes We are talking about the dark mode, has no certain release dates yet as it is still under test mode. But for iOS 13 users, it is expected that WhatsApp will be releasing two versions of dark mode for iOS devices.
WhatsApp New Feature Update
Recently, Whatsapp has also introduced a new feature for iOS users to stream the trailers of Netflix series within the app itself. Another update for Android users is a new lock icon share which shows up when dark theme is activated.
Some more details related to dark mode spotted by WABetaInfo in the latest build of Whatsapp on iOS shows that there will be two dark themes for iOS version of WhatsApp. The only major difference between the two themes is a different shade of black.

As you can see in the screenshots above, one dark theme has a lighter tone of black while the other one has a darker tone of black. The chat bubble remains the same in both of the themes. WhatsApp is still testing this feature so it is not yet confirmed that it will release this feature in the forthcoming updates.
