TikTok owned by ByteDance is a video sharing social media app. Already it stayed in a lot of controversy in India and other countries too. Once India has banned TikTok from everywhere, but now it is again available in India. But, Now U.S. Military has Banned TikTok app for some Security Threats.

The U.S. Military has banned it all soldiers to use TikTok on government issues smartphones. As we all know that TikTok has relations with the Chinese company and the U.S. finds some problems with these apps. So the U.S. Military has shared one Cyber Awareness Message to protect their soldier’s private information.

The Pentagon Spoke Person Said: “The guidance is to be wary of applications you download, monitor your phones for unusual and unsolicited texts etc., and delete them immediately and uninstall TikTok to circumvent any exposure of personal information,”

This is not the first time that the U.S. military has told all soldiers to delete any app. In 2016 the defence department had banned Pokemon Go. Like this U.S. had already banned Huwai smartphones. The U.S. is always concern about their security.

In the U.S., more than 60% are using TikTok app on their phone. For that, National Security has tried to check the security of the TikTok app. TikTok was got issues a few days ago because of deepfake. So if any severe problems come across, then, the U.S. will ban TikTok from the whole U.S.
