Around six years ago Snapchat first introduced the feature called “stories“. Stories mean you can keep a picture or a video which your friends can see, and it disappears after 24 hours. After Snapchat, Facebook introduced this feature and then followed by Instagram and Whatsapp. And now Twitter has also got this feature and named it “Fleets”. Yes, Twitter is testing a new feature called “Fleets” which is similar to Snapchat stories.
Twitter “Fleets” Feature Is Stories Like Instagram And Facebook Have And Disappear After 24 Hours
A Twitter has started testing the tweets which disappear after 24 hours. However, this is started only in Brazil as of now. It has brought a new feature called “Fleets” which is similar to Snapchat Stories. The user can share any content which gets disappeared in 24 hours.
Fleets are based on text. The user will be able to share videos, GIFs, and images. One can share Fleets (Stories) by click on the + sign at the top of the homepage. One can also respond to Fleets by click on it and send an emoji or a message.

In a blog post, Twitter wrote,
“Your followers will be able to see your Fleets at the top of their Home Page, and anyone who can access your full profile will also be able to find your Fleets there. If your DMs are open, anyone can react to your Fleets.”
However, the feature is not yet officially launched out for everyone. Fleets are still in the testing phase, so it is only available in Brazil, where the company’s Android and iOS based app is situated. The feature will be available to all the users within a week in Brazil. Other country users need to wait a bit to get this feature.
