by Finally, after a long wait, Sony is all set to launch its new console PlayStation 5, in India next month. You can Pre-Order PS5 from January 12, 2021, at 12 PM IST. Sony has shared this news by posting a tweet on its PlayStation India account. And it has also said that the pre-orders will be open till the stock lasts.
Sony PS5 Coming to India on 2nd February
Except in India, the console was launched in other regions on 12th November 2020 and 19th November 2020. Earlier, it was said that the India launch was about to happen in late 2020, but it didn’t happen due to some issues. But now, finally, the console is on its way to hit the Indian markets.

One can pre-order the PlayStation 5 via Amazon India, Flipkart, Croma, Reliance Digital, Sony Center, Vijay Sales, and Games the Shop. As per the news, the price of PS5 in Indian rupees is Rs. 49,990, and the digital edition price is Rs. 39,990.

In November, Sony has launched PS5 in the US, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, and other regions. Though India was not a part of this list, and the official website has accidentally shown the launch date in India.
So, if you want to buy PS5, then don’t be late to pre-order it on January 12 at 12 PM as you can pre-order it till the stock lasts.
Apart from Sony, Microsoft has also launched two new consoles in India in November, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. If we compare the prices of both the Sony and Microsoft’s consoles, then Series X price in India is at $685, and Series S price is $480. However, the demand of these new Xbox consoles is high in the country, and because of that, it is not even located on its Amazon India page.
