Xiaomi is all set to launch Redmi Note 8 Pro in India, which is supposed to be the successor to the Redmi Note 7 Pro which was launched early this year.

Redmi Note 8 Pro has a 6.53 inch IPS LCD Display which has a resolution of 1080×2340, with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. It has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

The phone packs a gaming-focused octa-core MediaTek Helio G90T processor which clocks up to 2.05GHz and has a Mali-G76 MC4 GPU. The phone has a vapor cooling chamber so it remains cool during long gaming sessions and has no thermal throttle. The phone is supposed to launch with a  6GB/8GB RAM which is paired with a UFS 2.1 64GB/128GB Internal Storage.

Redmi Note 8 Pro on the rear has the new Samsung’s ISOCELL Bright GW1 Sensor which is 64MP primary camera; a second 8MP Camera; a third 2MP camera and a fourth 2MP camera. The rear camera setup has autofocus. It sports a 20MP camera on the front for selfies. Photos will output 16MP by default does also have a 64MP mode to take photos. The phone has support for 4K 30fps recording but has OIS for 1080p recording.

The phone is supposed to have MIUI 10 out of the box which is based on Android Pie (9.0) and will receive the MIUI 11 update i.e Android 10 within some days of its India launch. The phone is going to be available in 3 colors i.e Forest Green, Mineral Gray, and Perl White.

The Phone has a 4500mAh battery which supports Quick Charging 4.0. This is the biggest ever battery in a Xiaomi phone. The phone has a 114Hr Standby which is stellar considering its price range. Now you don’t have to reach for your charger all the time when you game for long hours.

The phone has a rear-mounted Fingerprint sensor which is fast, has a USB-C type charger and has a hybrid sim slot so you may have to sacrifice your Micro SD card for dual sim.

Redmi Note 8 Pro India Launch Date:

The Phone is scheduled to launch in India on October 16th on Amazon and is the same day when MIUI 11 rollout is supposed to start too. The phone is a mid-ranger so it is going to cost between Rs.13,000-Rs.15,000.
