OnePlus has revealed the first look of the upcoming device OnePlus 8T. The picture of OnePlus 8T was seen in the Android 11 developer preview for OnePlus 8 series. OxygenUpdater spotted the device image. However, the leaked image only shows the front side of the smartphone.
OnePlus 8T First Look Revealed by Android 11 Developer Preview
The leak by Android 11 developer Preview only showed the front-face of the device in the image. Apart from this, there was no other information given. But, we can assume by seeing the picture that OnePlus 8T is similar to OnePlus 8. In the leaked image we can see the label OnePlus_8T.webp. And this image is different from OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro images.
However, do note that this image design might not be the final one for OnePlus 8T. But, we can say that OnePlus is gearing up to launch the device soon. The images were leaked in the OnePlus own firmware update, so this leak might be true.
Usually, OnePlus releases its “T” series smartphones at the end of the year. So, we can expect it in between October to November. As the earlier models of OnePlus were announced in September 2019 OnePlus 7T models, before that OnePlus 6T in November 2018. So, we can expect that the OnePlus 8T will be coming before December 2020. However, the exact date is not yet announced, so we need to wait for it. More, details about the device will be announced in the coming weeks.
If we talk about pricing, the price of OnePlus 8 starts from £599 in the UK and $699 in the US. By keeping this in mind, we can expect the price of OnePlus 8T and OnePlus 8T pro to be around this.
According to the strings discovered in the update for the OnePlus camera app, the device might have a 64MP primary sensor. The OnePlus Camera app (v5.4.23) had discovered a new string of code which shows 64MP photo support. As both the flagships of this year has 48MP primary sensor, we can say that the company might bring OxygenOS stock camera app in its next generation.
Apart from this, OnePlus is soon going to enter the smartwatch market. It is working on a new watch named “OnePlus watch.”
