OnePlus 8 Pro is the latest flagship of OnePlus. Soon OnePlus 8 Pro will receive an update which will temporarily disable the colour filter camera. OnePlus announced about the update with a post on Weibo. After the update, OnePlus 8 Pro will be able to use only three rear cameras.
The OnePlus 8 Pro’s colour filter camera will be temporarily disabled in a future update.

The company took this move after the recent reports claimed “see-through” capabilities of the fourth camera sensor, which was meant for improving images. It also says that, even though it has a quad rear camera setup, it will be able to use only three rear camera sensors and will disable the Color Filter camera.
According to the reports on Weibo, a post is written in Chinese which says, OnePlus will bring a software update for OnePlus 8 Pro. The update will come within a week and will disable the Color Filter camera. The company has decided the release of the update to put the privacy concerns due to reports showing see-through capabilities of the camera.
The camera was unable to replicate the x-ray scanner, which is projected in some reports. It will have the ability to allow the visibility to a few materials like the ones that don’t have shielding. Few of them recorded videos which show the internals of the devices like Apple TV and a TV remote control.
On OnePlus 8 Pro, there was a Color Filter camera to improve images with lighting effects. As per the reports by Android Police, it is a trick as you can only use a single camera mode and cannot add effects while zooming to any subjects or objects.
