New Motorola RAZR renders have appeared on a Weibo user’s page called Sunniton has photos of someone holding the new Motorola RAZR.

The phone shows a thick chin that can also serve as a docking spot while the display is folded. You can also see the outline of a button that is reported to double as the fingerprint sensor and could also be used to open the phone. Below it, the USB Type-C port is on the bottom edge, but there does not seem to be a 3.5 mm headphone jack on the phone. There is a sizeable boat-shaped notch at the bottom, which also houses the earpiece and the front lens.

Unlike other phones, the Motorola RAZR folds vertically rather than the horizontal fold by the Samsung and Huawei foldable devices.

Some days ago, some pictures of the phone were leaked by a tipster called Evan Blass. Press shots confirm the design of the clamshell with two displays, the same as its predecessor: one large display inside, and one display for outside notifications and media controls, to be used when the phone is closed.

The phone has specs that are present in midrange phones, Snapdragon 710 with Qualcomm’s Adreno 616, 4/6GB of RAM, and storage of 64/128GB. The primary display is 6.2 inches and will pack a 2,730 mAh battery.

The phone is supposed to be cheapest in the foldable smartphone range with a price tag of $1,500.
