The Chinese tech company, Xiaomi, has announced the release date of its operating system MIUI 11 based on Android. Although, the company has already started rolling out the update in China and now it is focusing on rolling out the update globally.
Today, on twitter, Miui India tweeted, teasing the MIUI 11 for 16th October. The latest version of MIUI will be released alongside Redmi Note 8 series in India. We can expect the new set of Redmi Note 8 to come with MIUI 11, but it is not a piece of confirmed information.

The new update is going to be a significant update for MIUI devices as it brings along various features and optimizations. However, there won’t be much change in the customizations and user interface. Although MIUI 11 will have a minimalistic UI design focused on viewing the content. The new UI uses Milan Pro font.
The new MIUI update will give you more control over always-on-display, you will be able to customize it according to your requirements. MIUI 11 also brings along a faster way to share files with devices such as Oppo, Vivo, Realme.
However, a complete list of devices that will be receiving the update is not yet revealed by Xiaomi. The update will start to roll out on 16th October in India.
