Mi Community Website and App Blocked

The Mi Community Website and Application has been Temporarily Blocked in India after the ban on 59 Applications by the Indian Government. The Ban list included the ban on Mi Community Application.
Mi Community is the place where the Mi Phone users can talk about their experience, issues with the website. This is also a forum where the company announces new updates, Android MIUI updates, and patches for their devices.
The company seems to be respecting the Government’s orders two weeks later, albeit the application was removed from the Google Play Store hours after the orders were given. In an official statement, the company has said that it is talking with the government shareholders to get the application and the website unblocked in India.
After the ban orders, one cannot access the website and a timed out error pops up while in the Application if it was installed on your phone before the ban order, a ‘web page not available’ warning is displayed.

The notice on the Indian Community when accessed through another country reads “We will be meeting with government stakeholders for an opportunity to respond and submit our clarifications. Mi Community adheres to the most stringent data privacy and security requirements under Indian law. The privacy and security of Mi Fans are of utmost importance to us”.
As of now the alternative for the Mi Community users is XDA Developers site which has a wide range of developers available and some ISP’s are allowing access to Mi Community Global, so users can access that too. As of now, Government of India has not released any statement regarding this block.
