Last month, Facebook announced a new feature called Messenger Rooms. Now, this new feature is soon coming to Whatsapp Web also. Messenger Rooms feature was spotted on the beta version of the app.
WhatsApp Web to get Messenger Rooms soon
If you don’t know about Messenger Rooms, then let me tell you it is a new video group chat feature for Facebook Messenger. All the users can chat with others directly from the Whatsapp, Portal or Instagram without leaving the apps.
According to WABetaInfo, Messenger Rooms Shortcuts feature is not available yet. The company is still working on this feature. The feature is still under development, so it is not available in your Whatsapp Web and desktop version.
Whatsapp is working to add Messenger Rooms shortcuts in 2.2019.6 update. This feature is not yet out for everyone. It will allow the users to connect with their family and friends through Messenger Rooms from their PC and laptops.
The main Messenger Rooms shortcut will be seen in the actions list in the chat. Once you select the Messenger Rooms shortcut option, Whatsapp will show the introduction of the feature. Another shortcut is seen on the main menu. If you want to create a room, then Whatsapp will ask you to continue in Messenger to create a room.
The feature is still under development, and yet it is not available for everyone. There is no news about the release date, and it is not known that the feature will be available for iOS, Android.
