Instagram Rolled Out the Dark mode update for Android 10 & iOS 13

Instagram has finally released its long-rumored dark mode update. After Apple’s system-wide dark mode on iOS 13 and also on Android 10, users can change the theme to a dark theme.

A lot of apps are currently working on dark mode, including Whatsapp, and today Instagram has finally done it.

Instagram’s Dark mode is fully responsive on both Android and iOS devices. To use the dark mode, you will have to update your app to the latest version first. Once updated, you can enable the dark mode for your system from the settings, and Instagram will automatically adapt to the dark mode.

If you are an iPhone user, go to Settings > Display & Brightness > Select Dark.

For Android 10 users, go to Settings > Display > Advanced > Dark mode. Once selected, launch Instagram and you will find the user interface turned into black with white fonts

While this update was meant to roll out the dark mode, Instagram is also working on to remove the “Following tab” in the forthcoming update, which is intended for all of the devices regardless of what software version they use.
