Thanks to Digital Chat, the new leak reveals the P40 Pro smartphone’s front panel as well as the rear side. The first images reveal the curved design of the smartphone and also showcases the dual hole-punch front camera. As seen in the leaks, it is present on the top left side of the smartphone.
The smartphone in the image has the status bar turned to black colour probably for hiding the hole of the front camera. There’s also a case on the smartphone that protects the rear, top, and bottom of the device, but it doesn’t have protection on the sides. As said, this is probably because of the curved edges.
Other than this, the smartphone is supposed to come with a Penta-lens camera setup at the rear. However, in the image, the camera has been covered with flaps.
That’s just what the leak suggests, but previously we have got a couple of leaks that revealed some other specs of the device. Let’s quickly take a look at them.
Everything We Know So Far About The Device
The P40 Pro is said to come with a massive display with curved edges at all four sides. This means that the top, bottom, and both sides will be curved. It is expected to come with the flagship Kirin SoC paired with a base 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory.
In terms of the optics, the Huawei P40 Pro is rumoured to come with a 52-megapixel primary sensor with Quad-Bayer RYYB technology that will provide 13-megapixel sharp images. There will be a dual-front camera on the device for selfies.
It is also expected to come with a bigger battery and Huawei’s proprietary fast charging solution. We also expect a 5G support on the device, but we’ll know it once it will launch in March.
