Honor 9X to Launch in India by the End of 2019

Huawei’s sub-brand Honor had launched Honor 9X in July 2019 in China. Now it’s scheduled to come to India by the end of this year.

Honor 9X is a phone with a 6.59-inch IPS LCD with a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels. The phone has no notch as it has a pop-up camera.

The phone has a HiSilicon Kirin 810 octa-core processor, which is built on the 7nm process with 4GB/6GB of RAM. The phone packs a 64GB and 128GB  of internal storage, which can be further expanded to 512GB by external means. The Kirin 810 processor is paired with Mali-G52 GPU for smooth gaming.

Honor 9X sports a dual-camera setup – with one 48MP camera with f/1.8 aperture and a 2MP depth sensor. It is also equipped with a 16MP selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture, which is a pop-up camera.

The phone has a 4000mAh battery, which supports a measly 10W fast charging. The phone has a USB-C type charging port. The phone has a fingerprint sensor on the power button.

The phone will be having EMUI 9.1, which is based on Android 9.0, but there is no information about any Android ten after the US ban on Huawei.

“We are going to launch Honor 9X by the end of this year in India. It will be on Android,” Charles Peng, President, Honor India, told Press Trust of India in an interview. If the phone launches by the end of this year, the phone will cost between Rs.15,000 to Rs. 20,000.
