Google I/O Is Completely Getting Shelved Off, Even Livestream Is Cancelled

Every event which was meant to happen this year, such as the MWC event, E3, GDC, Apple’s WWDC event either got cancelled or were scheduled for Livestreaming. But Google’s global summit is completely getting cancelled and there won’t even be a Livestream or an online event.
The company on Saturday shared a note on its social media,
A #GoogleIO update: Out of concern for the health and safety of our developers, employees, and local communities — and in line with “shelter in place” requirements by the local Bay Area government — we sadly will not be holding an I/O event in any capacity this year.
Later Google also said that it is an initiative by the company to help their communities stay safe.
