The Mavic Mini is the lightest and smallest drone ever made by DJI. The drone weighs in at just 249 grams and aims to make this drone accessible to anyone and everyone. The best part is that it doesn’t require any permit to own and fly.

The recording resolution of this device is locked at 2.7K 30FPS than the 4K 60FPS, which everyone expected.

The drone will offer you up to 30 minutes of flight time, with a range of up to 4kms, which is pretty good for such a tiny drone. The camera sensor is still mounted inside a three-axis gimbal, which will help record super-stable videos.

The Mavic Mini has fewer sensors than DJI’s other drones, meaning it may be more prone to crashes. Ground-facing sensors will help with low hovering and soft landings, but it’s up to the pilot not to fly the Mavic Mini sideways into a tree, wall, or any other object.

The drone is so small that it can fold up and can even be kept in a pocket. This drone is a cheap and good practice device for budding enthusiasts.

The Mavic Mini can be flown using the controller or the DJI Fly application available on Android and iOS devices.

DJI MAVIC MINI PRICES:

DJI Mavic Mini will be available in the form of two packages, a $399 base package. The kit includes the Mavic Mini, remote controller, one battery, extra propellers, and other necessary tools.

The $499 Fly More Combo includes a 360-degree propeller cage, a 2-way charging Hub, three batteries, three sets of extra propellers, and a carrying case apart with the inclusion of the tools in the $399 package.

The drone is scheduled to go on sale on November 11th, 2019, and will be soon coming to India as it doesn’t require a license to fly in India.
