Discord Down due to some server issues. Discord, the popular VoIP application which is used by Gamers is down at the moment. Discord has been facing such issues for the past 2 days after discovering some issue with the nodes.
Discord Down: User Can’t Send Message
Gamers all around the world are having issues with the application and are not able to connect any of the servers. They are being subjected to time outs from servers which have been making a lot of folks who want to connect with their friends and have a gaming session.
Update:
As per a notification issued by the Discord staff:
10:45 PM IST: The Issue has been identified by the onsite engineers and the service is slowly being restored.
11:15 PM IST: Traffic is slowly being ramped up with engineers monitoring the service health. The recovery operations are continuing. Service is stable but operating at a reduced capacity, on-call engineering is working to return the service to nominal capacity.
11:34 PM IST: The Recovery operations are continuing. Service is stable but operating at a reduced capacity, on-call engineering is working to return the service to nominal capacity.
11:46 PM IST: Service is stable and operating at full capacity. Oncall engineering continues to monitor the cluster as the traffic levels increase.
12:18 AM IST: All Systems are back up and operational.
Discord was approximately down for an hour and a half from 10:45 PM IST to 12:18 AM IST.
Discord team has not issued any sort of official statement on this issue. The only updates from Discord team were announced through Discord Status.
