The Asus ROG Phone 2 has finally made its way to India, the device was announced back in July. As we all know, the device is a complete package for game-centric users which comes with a 120Hz refresh rate AMOLED screen which is something Asus can brag about.

As per the company, the ROG Phone 2 was the first-ever device to have a Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset under the hood, but after its announcement, a lot of devices have appeared with 855+ chipset like the Black Shark 2 Pro and the latest version of Redmi K20 Pro Extreme.

Asus ROG Phone 2 has two variants which are: 8GB RAM and 128 gigs of storage which will cost you around 37,999 INR and the high-end model has 12GB RAM and a whopping 512GB of storage which is priced at 59,999 INR. The device will go on sale on Flipkart during the big billion days sale, so you can avail the discount and save a few bucks.

Both of the variants have a different charger, and the 8GB variant comes with 18W quick charge 4.0 adapter and Aero case out of the box whereas the 12GB variant comes along with a 30W ROG charger, Aero Active Cooler and an Aero Case.

Talking about the specs of the device, the Asus rog phone 2 has a 6.59-inch full HD+ display that is around 2340 x 1080 pixels AMOLED screen with an on-screen fingerprint sensor. The device is True 10-bit HDR gaming and video playback with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time.

The layer of Corning gorilla glass 6 on the front protects the device from getting damaged against the drops. Asus has used aluminium to make the chassis of the device while the backside has different shades of colour when light falls on them from different angles.

The Asus ROG phone 2 is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset which enhances the gaming experience on a smartphone to its full extent. The Adreno 640 along with 855+ chipset provide a 2.96GHz of clock speed improving 15% in the overall performance of the device.

The device has a dual-camera setup which is similar to Asus 6z that consists of 48MP Sony IMX586 primary sensor with an f/1.7 and a 13MP ultra-wide camera for more comprehensive photos with 123-degree field of view. The selfie camera is of 24MP with f/2.0 aperture. The device runs on ROG UI, which is based on Android 9 Pie.
