Just yesterday we saw a few leaks for the upcoming OnePlus 8 Pro smartphone and now we have our eyes on the fresh vanilla OnePlus 8 smartphone’s images. The images give us a closer look at the device and also confirms some of the specifications.
OnePlus 8 Smartphone’s Actual Images, Specs, and Details Outed
The OnePlus 8 is said to be an upgrade in some aspects such as the cameras and chipset. The smartphone will sport a 6.55-inch FHD+ Fluid AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate panel. It will be a hole-unch display with bear-minimum bezels. It will feature a triple rear camera consisting of a 48-megapixel primary sensor. It will also sport a 16-megapixel primary camera at the front.
Under the hood, the OnePlus 8 will come powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC paired with a base 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory. It will also come in a maxed-out variant with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal memory.
The device will hold a 4,300mAh battery with 30W Warp charging functionality. It will run on Android 10 out of the box and OnePlus’s OxygenOS on top of it.
One disappointing thing about the smartphone has to be the IP rating. Even after so many requests from fans, the device is still not water-resistant. To remind, some leaks claimed that the Pro model will get an IP rating and vanilla device will miss on one.
Other than this, the launch of the smartphone was tipped to occur between the month of March and April but due to COVID-19(Corona Virus) Pandemic, the launch is getting a bit delayed.
Once more details on the launch and availability are out, we’ll keep you posted. Until then, stay tuned on TechViral for more updates on OnePlus devices.
