The main issue is that no one has claimed that who is the owner of that database. But the researcher, Justin Paine says that the database was under the control of Thailand-based mobile network operator named Advanced Info Service (AIS).

The database contains Database queries, Network flow data and more but without any kind of passwords

Paine wrote in a blog post on Monday that,

“Using this data it is quite simple to paint a picture of what a person does on the Internet,”

“Based on data available in BinaryEdge this database was first observed as exposed and publicly accessible on May 1, 2020. I discovered this database roughly 6 days later on May 7, 2020,”

Although it is just DNS queries a good hacker can use it the very smart way. As they can easily fetch data of users like what apps and website they surf and more. We can see that the most important thing is now is data. So having this kind of data leak can cause so many problems to the county’s people.
